Rating Nak: 9/10
Can't wait for the action to start. It'll be hard to tell which team will go all the way to final and win the tournament as most players had mixed fortunes after the last season's club football ended. (Montpellier HSC won Ligue 1? Torres starting from bench on CL final match? Barca on downward slope?)
Well, anything can happen. Trust me.
Jadi, to those yang nak tolong belikan jersi-jersi di atas untuk saya, besar tapak tangan, nyiru saya tadahkan...HiHiHi.
Jumpa kami di EURO 2012 - Poland & Ukraine
Sampai jumpa!

Masa kecik-kecik dulu aku bukan main suka lagi kalau dapat pergi kedai. Tak kire la kedai runcit ke, supermarket ke (hypermarket belum popular lagi masa tu) atau kedai simpang kat rumah aku ni. Alkisahnya, aku mengidamkan sesuatu dari sana. Kalau tak tora, dingdang, sugus, chikedis, super ring, nini cokelat celup and the list goes endless.
The advertisement cos. must've done brilliant, helluva job!
Tapi selalunya my cravings for jajan ni dikawal rapi oleh dua orang menteri di rumah. Maka, tidaklah selalunya dipenuhi. Sampai satu tahap, i made a pledge to myself outta frustration; dah besar nanti aku nak pergi kedai, aku nak beli snacks banyak-banyak, coklat banyak-banyak, fill up all the empty spaces dalam gobok kabinet dan peti ais rumah aku, nak makan sorang-sorang, tak nak bagi orang lain!
I did. minus part banyak-banyak dan fill up all the empty spaces dan makan sorang dan tak bagi orang lain...=p
Baru-baru ni, teridam sesuatu yang lain. Bukan jajan lagi. Bukan makanan pun.
Mungkin sebab....takpelah, sekarang aku tulis!
Musim bola Eropah 2010/11 dah pun officially tamat last week.
1. Kemasukan Kenny Dalglish (KD) menggantikan Roy Hogdson menyaksikan LFC kembali memanjat tangga carta dan akhirnya menghuni tangga ke-6.(missed out on Europa League spot)
2. The year when Lucas Leiva, finally, come good. (adoi, apehal ayat aku dah macam ayat majalah bola nih?)
3. The obvious emergence of talents from the academy. And we could not wait to see them 'blossoming' next season!
4. El Pistolero! Nama jolokan bagi pembelian Januari LFC, Luis Alberto Suarez @ Suarez. Scoring on his debut for LFC dan beberapa gol lagi menyusul di perlawanan seterusnya. Tapi kebolehannya mengucar-ngacirkan pertahanan lawan and his trickery riuh diperkatakan membuka peluang buat rakan-rakan sepasukan yang lain seperti Dirk Kuyt dan Maxi Rodriguez menjaringkan gol-gol penting. And he's only 24!
5. Dengan ketiadaan pertandingan di peringkat Eropah musim depan + kesediaan pemilik baru (Fenway Sports Group) untuk berbelanja besar membeli pemain-pemain berkualiti + promotion kepada pemain-pemain muda yang berjiwa LFC through and through + bimbingan oleh idola dan legenda The Reds, King Kenny = LFC probably has finally found the perfect mould and 'ingredients' to challenge for every domestic cups available next season. I'm buzzing!
Boleh dikatakan selepas pemergian Alonso, coupled with trouble brewing in the boardroom of LFC, menjadi punca kemerosotan dan kejatuhan LFC. Baru-baru ni Alonso come clean with his true reason why he left LFC for Real Madrid, in an interview.
This fixture couldn't come at any better time as this two teams will meet first time since the January transfer window and also the first after Mr.Torres switching allegiance for the blue outfit. On Nov. 7 last year, he scored the two goals that gave victory to his old side. Would he score again this time to make the score even?
Last match, dia menggunakan formation 3-5-2-1 yang agak unusual but yet effective to edge stubborn side of Stoke City by winning the game 2-0.
And it is also interesting to see how LFC new signing, Luis Suarez will present himself for his first BIG game in BPL.Will he crack under pressure or rise to the occasion and prove his worth?
Tonight...all the question will be answered, and i'm pretty sure it will be a cracking game with both sides are rejuvenating from recent slump of forms.Apa2 pun of course i'm hoping The Reds will prevail eventually.
Aku tak maksudkan hidup Jack Bauer dalam series '24'...what i meant is the January transfer window...duhh~
Seperti yang aku catatkan dalam previous entry, aku dah rasakan yang sooner or later, our once beloved son, FT (bukan Faizal Tahir) will leave the club.Malangnya, mungkin sebab dia terbaca entri aku tu, he decided to ask for transfer subsequently. Huh!
Last transfer window menyaksikan lebih GBP215m bertukar tangan di BPL, satu rekod baru. Ini ada kena mengena dengan new rule that will be imposed by UEFA in coming season known as UEFA Financial Fair Play rule.(click link for further explanation)
Basically, peraturan baru ni menekankan 'sound financial management' for clubs. Fail to adhere to the rule, akibatnya dorang (kelab2 yang degil @ xmemenuhi kriteria) will not be allowed to compete neither in Champions League nor Europa League. Tak masuk in those two, means kurang duit la...dan rasanya tak ada kelab yang tak nak duit.
Okla berbalik kepada transfer window. LFC berjaya recruited sekurang-kurangnya dua pemain.
1) En. Luis Suarez from Ajax Amsterdam for GBP22.8 million.
Former Ajax captain now a RED servant~
He's 24. An Uruguayan. Has scored for Ajax more than 100 goals over three and a half seasons. He was named 'Dutch Player of the Year' in 2009/10 season, having scored 35 goals in 33 games (49 in all competitions). Last World Cup, he helped Uruguay through to quarterfinal by playing in 6 games and scoring 3 goals.
Looking at his CV, definitely he's a decent signing. Tapi, BPL is a different league altogether and he needs to adapt quickly and stamp his mark.
2) En. Andrew Carroll dari Newscastle United untuk GBP35 juta. Apo?!
Does he really worth GBP35m? Only time will tell~
After performing so convincingly for Newcastle in their first season back to top flight football, he suddenly found himself attracting the big guns in the league for his service. Kebetulan, LFC was looking for a replacement when FT decided to go, so LFC made a bid for GBP30m which was turned down by Newcastle. Tapi agaknya sebab terdesak sangat, LFC came with improved offer of GBP35m and realizing it was an offer too good to ignore, NU accepted the offer walaupun kedengaran yang sebenarnya Carroll tak nak blah pun! Isk...
Walau macam mana pun, he is now the new LFC's No.9 and when he's fully recover from his recent injury, we'll see how he will fare in Red. Being 22, he has time on his side, but to fully prove himself with the 'most expensive British footballer' tag on his forehead, will definitely be a tall order for this young chap.
Mungkin kedengaran aku agak 'bias' dengan Andy Carroll ni, tapi sebenarnya aku memang happy he's now part of the family...walaupun tangis perginya FT belum kering...huwarrghh~
...dan untuk FT, aku mengharap ko tak blah, apatah lagi menyertai team London tu, tapi nampaknya takde apa lagi yang boleh diperkatakan selain thanks for your services and goals, but i don't wish you well at your new club...huhu...emo pulak.
Now a history...
Taken a quote from the legendary (now the caretaker-manager) Reds - Kenny Dalglish:-
"Players leave the club and players come in, though more have come into this club than gone. It's no different now. People move on. The most important thing is the club"
...indeed. No one's bigger than the club.
Sayonara FT!
p/s: 3/2/11 - LFC won match against Stoke City 2-0 with the debutant, Luis Suarez scoring his first goal for the club!
Sepanjang minggu ni ada banyak sporting events yang berlangsung i.e Australian Open tennis, Badminton Korea Open, and AFC Asian Cup which just ended a moment ago.
Yup, The Blue Samurai came out top against The Socceroos (Australia) winning the final match 1-0. Gratefully, aku memang rooting for Jepun pun untuk menang tournament ni. Even though, it looked as if they were scrambled themselves to get through to the final, it was actually their resilient and never-say-die attitude that got them where they are belong; to victory!
Dorang beat Syria 2-1 when they had to play with 10 men when the goalkeeper were shown a dubious red card for a challenge against the opponent. Tak cukup itu, again they had to play with 10 men almost for a good half an hour in quaterfinal against the host, Qatar, (our own Subkhiddin Salleh was the referee of the match). They came back twice and won the match 3-2, thanks to a brace from brilliant Shinji Kagawa.
Shinji Kagawa - Borussia Dortmund
Masa semifinal against Korea Republic was an epic match. The Korean scored an equaliser at the death of extra time and the game had to be decided with penalty shootout. Eiji Kawashima was the hero, saving two of the first spotkicks from Korea and Japan through to the final against Australia.
Aku rasa ada beberapa players yang menjadi pillars of the team, yang work tirelessly to bring the title to the team. Among them are Makoto Hasebe(C), Keisuke Honda and Yasuhito Endo.
Makoto Hasebe - the Captain
A similar mould of Stevie G. Have a good presence, leading the pack with maturity and calmness, the engine of the midfield alongside fellow teammate, Keisuke Honda, and everywhere in the field to be found. Currently playing with Germany outfit, VfL Wolfsburg.
Keisuke Honda - The Playmaker
Piut Boon Siew Honda ni buat masa sekarang bermain untuk CSKA Moscow. Bersama Hasebe, dia adalah creative force yang dictate the play for Japan's team. He's a decent free kick taker yang scored a few goals from set pieces. Rasanya untuk Asian Cup ni dia xdapat score any goals. However, he was crowned the MVP of the tournament. Baru2 ni ada dengar LFC nak beli =)
Yasuhito Endo - Mr. Cool
Dia ni is the epitome of coolness. Time atas padang, rileks je. Macam xletih, macam tak pressure. Position die dalam team is holding midfielder, the one yang cover the back four. Playing for Gamba Osaka in Japan, he is one of the most senior figures in the team yang offer experience to the younger teammates. Walau bagaimanapun, this probably will be the last tournament for him sebab dah menginjak ke angka 30.
Apa2 pun, game bola ni is a teamwork game. The rest pun main OK dan main peranan masing2. Tak pernah orang main bola sorang2 and then menang World Cup. What excites me is, the asian teams sekarang showing a lot of progress. Player dorang, especially Jepun dan Korea banyak players muda and showing good performance and skills.
So nak relate la sket dengan pasukan kebangsaan kita. Sekali tengok memang a good sign for our football as for now we are the strongest team in SEA region selepas menang SEA games + AFC Suzuki Cup. Walau macam mana pun, banyak lagi yang perlu dilakukan untuk truly bring the team to greater heights.
Tapi FAM kena realistik la dengan perancangan diaorang and really they have to stop all the political games in the association. Janganlah sebab duit ramai yang nak mengendeng walaupun tak tahu sepatah haram pun pasal football development. Pastu bila menang, sibuk tunjuk muka dalam paper. C'mon la, let the deserved ones take the credit for their hardwork!
It's very hard to talk about this anymore...almost menyampah...but being loyal is about sticking together through ups and downs. So, i shouldn't complain. Tapi nak komplen jugak! =)
Roy Hodgson already gone. Enter Kenny Dalglish or dubbed as 'King Kenny',a living legend for Liverpool FC. Dia ni dulu dah pernah jadi manager LFC masa late 80's and won the league championship three times. So, hopefully, dengan adanya dia sekarang, not only will revive the team spirit, also will bring the team out of the slump.
After 7 wins, 5 draws and 10 defeats, LFC are now lie 13th in the table. Not a favourable position to mount any challenges for the title this season. At least, layak la untuk Europa League for another year.
King Kenny - can he work any magic?
The inconsistency of their performances tells all. Ditambah lagi dengan the 'loyal duo' Gerrard + Carra out of action for number of games, tinggallah yang lain2 cuba menggalas cabaran. New signings untuk season ni pun xberapa boleh harap except for Raul Meireles who tried hard and well to fill in the gap left by Gerrard for now.
The same can't be said for Paul Konchesky, Joe Cole and Christian Poulsen. though But i do believe they are all talented bunch of players and when the time is right, they will be able to show their worth to the team.
Antara yang paling hangat diperkatakan perpindahan Darrent Bent from Sunderland to Aston Villa. Outta no where tiba2 aje. Tapi xkisahla itu team lain punya cerita. At this point of time, LFC is heavily linked to Ajax's Luis Suarez and AV's Ashley Young. I bet Suarez definitely will fit in just right with his style of play and his agility as shown masa World Cup haritu di mana Uruguay went as far as quaterfinal and Suarez scored 3 goals.
Luis Suarez in Ajax Amsterdam FC outfit
Tentang Ashley Young aku xpasti sama ada the transfer will go through or not as it's unlikely for Aston Villa which now fighting for their own survival in the league to part with one of their best players.
As for me, LFC perlukan seorang lagi recognized centreback if they want to compete with the best. So far yang aku tengok, centrebacks yang ade in the form of Skrtel, Carra, Kyrgiakos + Agger are prone to mistakes that led to conceding goals. Bila opponent dah score, the team let their heads down and not able to be resilient and fight back as done in the previous seasons.
I'm still hoping they will try to lure Brede Hangeland away from Fulham FC, but now Hodgson is gone (if only he has any direct influence on the player while his tenure as Fulham FC manager) i think that LFC should stick with what they got and try not to concede anymore goals.
Apa yang penting....kerjasama...er,bukan2...yang penting sekarang ialah untuk build balik confidence di kalangan pemain and in the same time try not to lose to lower ranking teams macam kalah dengan Blackpool ke, Wolves ke, West Ham etc. Sepatutnya team2 inila yang patut dorang amik kesempatan sepenuhnya score maximum points (3,that is) dan give a good fight la to the heavyweights (i.e Arsenal, Spurs), at least you give some hope to the fans out there that you can challenge for places.
As for this season, for a Champions League's spot is hard to do tapi masih belum mustahil, the best that LFC can come out this season is try to win the Europa League (they were already knocked out from FA Cup + Carling Cup) and finish the league at least 6th placing ke atas. And then, next season is the start over to mount any challenges for top honours...
...but i think...F.Torres will be gone next season...a hunch~
LFC...You'll Never Walk Alone!
p/s: 22/01/11 - LFC defeated Wolves at Molineux 3-0. Torres scored a brace separated by delicious volley from R.Meireles. Nice~
Kitaorang main five-a-side in a normal size futsal court. Kalau xfit memang cepat penat coz stop-start nature & xde masa nak gentel2 @ hold bola lama2. Once bola dah kat kaki, pandai²la nak passing ke, shoot @ bantai rembat opponent...huhu~
So, selalunya kedatangan aku ke sana bersama mixed fortune. Kadang² main seronok. Kadang² tidak. Xseronok tu terjadi on various reasons lah. Kadang² sebab kalah, kadang² sebab tunggu turn nak main lama sangat sebab ramai sangat subs. Another reason: sebab game cancel!
Tapi malam tadi was a good night. My team scored lotsa goals, kinda kenduri la. Tu yang bagus kalau dapat players berkualiti. I mean, you definitely can play even without much skills, but the quality you must have is teamwork. Bermain dalam tempat sempit dan kurang orang (compared to bola sepak biasa) you need to change your role all the time. Not necessarily kena jadi striker all the time. Not really you have to defend all the way. Bila team nak attack, move forward, set yourself free, make spaces, and find way to score. So,bile dah kena attack pulak, go figure! (turun and defend la)
As a futsal player aku paling suke main long ball. Teammate move forward, aku deliver dan pastu pandai² la dia. Setakat ni long ball aku xberapa hebat lagi. Masih dalam proses 'polishing'. But i guess my biggest quality in a team is my mobility and my pace. Berbanding main bola padang, main futsal doesn't need me to sprint too hard. Kire agak² je boleh beat opponent, kire oklah.
Selalunya kalau main, kitaorang xkire sangat pasal scoring sebab main leisurely je (but at certain extent of competitiveness). Maklumlah, yang main ni pun dah hujung² keremajaan. Kalau push too hard karang, takut pancit sangat pulak.
This is kinda an escapade for me. To relive the past glory and make up the unrealised ones. Cukuplah =)
Sehingga ke Isnin hadapan....roger and out~
p/s: nak balik, salam² dgn semua, tibe² ade brader ni cakap "baguih mu maen male nie...".Terasa kembang sekembang Seri Kembangan...hins3x~
Sayu sikit nak masuk topik ni. Tapi aku x boleh live life in denial, so dengan perasaan yang berat aku cuba kupas la apa yang dah berlaku di Red half of merseyside~~~
Another defeat in the league, and to make it worse, against the bitter rivals in form of Everton left the mighty Reds (not so mighty now) down to second last in the standing. Sedey~
What happen to 'Thanks But No Yanks' ??? Yes, they should be given ample time and space to prove themselves that they are absolutely different from Gillet Jr. and Hicks but no one could tell at this point of time.
Sangat sedey la weii melihatkan team ni macam clueless bertarung di padang, sekali tengok macam nak menang, tapi dua kali tengok memang sengaja nak kalah. I know, team² lain sekarang actually are taking advantage on this uncertainties and issues surrounding the club, dan bila morale dah down, main macam mana pun, mesti susah nak menang.
The saddest thing to see is, even the Captain Marvel (Sir Stevie G) x boleh nak inspire the team anymore (mungkin kena beli proton inspira). Now that he has to sacrifice his role as supporting striker to Torres with arrival of Joe Cole, the goals from him is hard to come by. Actually, aku kesian kat dia.I know, he would die for that elusive premier league title but i don't know whether he will ever achieve that during his time at Liverpool. Now that he's already hitting the 30ish years of life, time definitely not on his side.
Dejected Gerrard
Another question to ask, adakah Roy Hodgson adalah manager yang mampu to lift the spirit of the squad selepas the worst start in decades ni? Apalagi yang dia boleh buat to work on something and change the situation? I definitely don't question his capability to manage a team as what he did to Fulham was magnificent, but to repair a sinking ship needs some intervention of miracles! (ewahh sesedap rase aku bermain dgn kata²). Real Roy Hodgson, please stand up...
Also dejected Roy Hodgson
Whether they want to accept or not, LFC is now truly in crisis and deeply in trouble. Who'll be the saviour? Who'll be held responsible for this catastrophe? Some say Kenny Dalglish , once a pivotal figure during LFC's golden years, is the answer to this mess, but could he turn things around after a period of hiatus?
Not so dejected Kenny =D~
Aih, dah terlebih speaking pulak ni. Rasenya LFC kena back to basic. Susun balik team. Kalau dorang kena main negatif sikit sekarang, be it. Defend all the way, pastu look for opportunity to gain on counter attack. Main long ball.Tapi tula masalahnya sekarang, LFC kurang good, long ball passer. Harap Lucas Leiva, short pass pun kantoi huhuh.
Dorang perlukan another out and out striker. Torres tengah down sangat sekarang. I don't think he'll be performing to his best for the time being. Entah² tengah sangap fikir kelab mana nak pergi lepas ni...Ntah la labu~ Teringat-ingat masa dia tengah sangat² on form dulu. Partnership dengan Gerrard masa tu memang sangat delicious la.Aduss...
Backliners sangat poros sekarang. Nampaknya Roy kena beli sorang reliable centreback as Carra dah x boleh nak catch up dengan stronger strikers. His time is up. Mungkin dah tiba masa untuk gantung boot and pergi amik coaching badge je (memandai je...sorry Mr.23). Cadangan aku, Hincik Brede Hangeland. Has great aerial ability and physical strength with elegant technique, passing ability and pace. Lagipun Roy kenal sangat dengan mamat ni. So, sebelum team lain sambar, cepat² bid.
Mr.H,u look nice in Red!
Banyak yang perlu dilakukan. Tapi aku percaya, they can bounce back from this hardship. Apa dorang perlukan ialah sedikit (silap....banyak) self-confidence, unity, teamwork and a lil' bit help from the lady luck. Sementara itu, hincik owners (NESV) yang baru, sila la tengok² apa² yang patut dan buat significant investment to the club. Don't ask how much profit the club can give you, but ask yourselves, how to bring this club outta this shambles and to its greatest height.
Kick off for the new season of BPL will start in approximately 10 days dan aku sangat² excited untuk melihat bagaimana Liverpool FC akan berprestasi musim ini. Season akan datang ni will be the first without R.Benitez (bye² senor, you'll only be missed for that glorious night in Istanbul and bringing in Xabi Alonso, and those only) who was off to Internazionale, first for Roy Hodgson at the helm, dan probably new owner(s) too in matter of days from now. Tapi probably i will skip about the latter part sebab sekarang aku sangat bengang dengan those two screwed American scumbags. Korang tahula siapa kan.
Selepas secured the signature of fading Chelsea star in Joe Cole, + signing of Milan Jovanovic, Jonjo Shelvey & Danny Wilson, Liverpool FC memerlukan sekurang-kurangnya 2 orang signings lagi sebelum musim bermula. 1) untuk ganti J.Mascherano yang tak sabar sangat nak keluar (dengar² Christian Poulsen dari Juventus disebut-sebut sebagai the most likely replacement)
Christian Poulsen
2) Seorang leftback selepas departure of Emmanuel Insua & Fabio Aurelio. Aku pun masih tak faham kenapa Liverpool nak jual Insua sebab persembahan dia meningkat naik significantly bagi aku musim lepas. Barangkali pengaruh dari his fellow countryman (Mascherano) suruh blah. Tapi pada aku,the best candidate to replace them will be Marcell Jensen(Hamburg SV). Pacey, rajin dan good ball control. Of course better kalau dapat Philip Lahm tapi definitely, very unlikely.
Marcell Jensen
Robbie Threlfall. Mungkin dah penat tunggu first team opportunity tak juga kunjung tiba, jadi dia join Bradford City.
Robbie Threlfall
Banyak yang Roy Hodgson kena buat untuk stabilkan pasukan this coming season ni. Selain sort out di mana nak letak Gerrard dan Cole bersama-sama, it's very crucial for him to secure a prominent name at holding midfielder position as L.Leiva is very lightweight and what more with departure of Mascherano. Tapi bagus juga kalau tengok Hodgson employ 2 attacking midfielders in Gerrard and Cole but they must've a very reliable backline. With Carragher not so mobile these days, hopefully D.Wilson will be able to fill in the gap and perform.
So,line up untuk next season harapnya akan jadi begini:-
Goalie:Pepe Reina (indispensible babeh!) Right back:Glen Johnson (Phil Degen) Left back:Marcel Jensen (i wish!) Centerbacks:Martin Skrtel, Daniel Agger (Carragher,Wilson,Ayala,Shelvey) Holding Mid.:Lucas Leiva, Christian Poulsen (Damien Plessis) Center Mid.:Steven Gerrard (Jay Spearing) Right Mid.:Dirk Kuyt Left Mid.:Joe Cole Striker:Fernando Torres (Milan Jovanovic, Klaas Jan Huntelaar,Ngog)
Don't ask how I got Huntelaar in there...my imagination is running wild!
